13 year old Afghan boy travelled from Kabul to Delhi in landing gear compartment
A 13-year-old Afghan boy from Kunduz city, Afghanistan, made a dangerous journey from Kabul to Delhi while hiding in the landing gear compartment.
He endured the two-hour flight at an altitude of over 36,000 feet ( 11,000 meters or 11 kilometers ) inside the cramped landing gear space.
Security personnel at Delhi International Airport found the boy wandering on the runway, where he was immediately detained.
The incident occurred on KAM Air flight RQ-4401, and it is considered a miracle that he survived the extreme weather conditions and low oxygen levels at such a high altitude. The boy was eventually sent back to Kabul.
