World Para Athletics Championships India 2025 : Kenyan and Japanese coach bitten by stray dogs

At-least two ( 2 ) foreign coaches ( Kenyan and Japanese ) were bitten by stray dogs during  World Para Athletics Championships ( Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium , New Delhi - India ) 2025 .

Kenyan coach Dennis Maragia was speaking to one of his athletes outside the competition arena of the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium, when a stray dog suddenly came and bit him. 

Japanese coach Meiko Okumatsu was also bitten by a stray dog while she was supervising training of her athletes at the warm-up track adjacent to the main competition area.

In this particular video , you can see another stray dog running between athletes , coaches and staff while a security person is pushing the dog out using a chair .
